Last week RBK organized the second congress for sustainable business called “ESG (R) Evolution”. The pool of the topics was rather wide including current challenges of ESG transformation and the future development of ESG initiatives for a wide range of stakeholders in new reality. The congress hosted speakers and representatives from public and private sectors that have a diverse activity profile with significant impact on social and environmental spheres.   

Sergey Grishunin, Associate Professor of the School of Finance, took part in GrEnFin (Greening Energy Market and Finance) Project Final Conference in Bologna on October 21, 2022.

Professor of the School of Finance Dmitry Tikhomirov received an official message of thanks, signed by Igor Shuvalov, Chairman of VEB.RF, for his high professionalism in preparing a training program on project financing as part of the implementation of the "Open Business" project at VEB.RF.

On June 6th, within the framework of the HSE Best Russian-Language Scientific and Popular Science Papers Competition, the paper “Relationship between Regional Socio-Economic Development and Corporate Ratings of Russian Companies” presented by the team of authors: Irina Ivashkovskaya, Elena Makeeva, Konstantin Popov and Liudmila Ruzhanskaya, became the winner in the nomination “Best Russian-Language Scientific Work”, and was awarded a certificate of honour.

On May 25, within the framework of the National Sustainable Development Forum, devoted to the global challenges and ESG agenda national priorities, representatives of the Russian companies shared their cases.
During the discussion, it was stated that all 17 sustainable development goals are the same and each company has long-term goals to achieve them.
However, nowadays not all sustainable development goals (SDGs) are currently achievable.
The social aspect of the ESG agenda comes to the fore.

On May 24, 2022 Sergey Grishunin, senior lecturer at the School of Finance, managing director of the rating service of the National Rating Agency took part in the working session of the XIII International Forum "Ecology".

On April 20th Sergei Grishunin, School of Finance Senior Lecturer and Managing Director of the National Rating Agency's Rating Service, delived a presentation: "CFO of the Future: What is Important to Know?". During the speech, the expert highlighted two key questions: how The Fourth Indastrial Revolution affected the CFO and how to become a leader in this field.

On April 5, within the framework of the XXIII Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, a round table “Financing of an inclusive economy: challenges of a new reality” was held.

On April 9, within the framework of the XXIII Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, the IX Annual International Research Workshop of the School of Finance "Financial Markets and Corporate Strategies: Comparative Studies" was held.

On March 30-31, 2022, the HSE School of Finance took part in the CFO Summit 2022.
