On the 8th and 9th of December, the School of Finance successfully hosted the international seminar “ESG Transformation: Challenges in Emerging Markets”

New Paradigms for Corporate Governance Discussed at 20TH EIASM WORKSHOP in St. Gallen

Corporate governance is changing its paradigm to the new financial and economic reality which is oriented towards sustainable development. The central pillars of corporate governance moved towards ESG which imposed to consider new factors such as Ethical AI and managing the people's data, gender diversity etc. that were captured into the concept introduced by President of the Swiss Institute of Directors, called “Diversity Optima”: these were among the main discussed topics at the 20TH EIASM WORKSHOP ON CORPORATE GOVERNANCE.

Students of the School of Finance Took Part in Iseo Summer School 2023

Students of the School of Finance took part in the Iseo Summer School, a school with Nobel laureates, which was held in a small town in Italy - in the province of Brescia. This year topic was: “The World After. Challenges Ahead for the Global Economy”. This summer school was organized by the I.S.E.O. and has been running since 2004.

Egor Pashkov, Corporate Finance Center fellow researcher and a first-year Master in Financial Markets and Institutions, took part in the annual 19th International Summer School of Economics I.S.E.O. Summer School, organized by the I.S.E.O Institute (Institute for Studies on Economics and Employment), and shared his impressions.

Main trends of ESG development in Russia, what has changed after February 2022

Last week RBK organized the second congress for sustainable business called “ESG (R) Evolution”. The pool of the topics was rather wide including current challenges of ESG transformation and the future development of ESG initiatives for a wide range of stakeholders in new reality. The congress hosted speakers and representatives from public and private sectors that have a diverse activity profile with significant impact on social and environmental spheres.
