A group of researchers has proposed assessing the ESG transformation of businesses through the partner turnover ratio in raw material and distribution supply chains. The researchers note that the path towards sustainability requires a deep and often costly restructuring of partner networks. This and other papers were presented at the Third International Annual Conference ‘ESG Corporate Dynamics: the Challenges for Emerging Capital Markets.’

Main trends of ESG development in Russia, what has changed after February 2022

Last week RBK organized the second congress for sustainable business called “ESG (R) Evolution”. The pool of the topics was rather wide including current challenges of ESG transformation and the future development of ESG initiatives for a wide range of stakeholders in new reality. The congress hosted speakers and representatives from public and private sectors that have a diverse activity profile with significant impact on social and environmental spheres.

May 25, National Sustainable Development Forum
On May 25, within the framework of the National Sustainable Development Forum, devoted to the global challenges and ESG agenda national priorities, representatives of the Russian companies shared their cases.
During the discussion, it was stated that all 17 sustainable development goals are the same and each company has long-term goals to achieve them.
However, nowadays not all sustainable development goals (SDGs) are currently achievable.
The social aspect of the ESG agenda comes to the fore.
