Ion Frekautan and Egor Pashkov, PhD students from the School of Finance, participated in the World Finance Conference (WFC) organized jointly with the European University of Cyprus in Nicosia (Cyprus) from 30 July to 2 August.
Resilience of Russian companies and their antifragility were discussed at the round table organized by the School of Finance of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of HSE University. The participants spoke about the opportunities for raising capital in the domestic market, companies’ resilience amid a crisis and the vision of companies’ top managers for the current situation.
The 1st issue of 2024 includes papers on the impact of ESG ratings on ETFs, market reaction on environmental disasters, dividend payment theories on Russian market, etc.
Alexander V. Myshenkov, lecturer of the School of Finance, Senior Audit Manager of «Technologies of Trust - Audit», was awarded the SRO AAS’s Medal «For Merits in the Field of Audit».
The 4th issue of 2023 includes papers on the impact of mergers and acquisitions on R&D, corporate resilience in the era of “cancel culture,” the consequences of Western sanctions for Russian airlines, etc.
Maria Semyonova, associate professor at the School of Finance, was nominated for the award, given to alumni for her outstanding academic career at HSE and strengthening the university’s international academic reputation as a leading research center in the field of finance
