Professors of the School of Finance Spoke at the International Scientific and Practical Conference Architecture of Finance: Transformation in the Times of New Multipolarity

The XIII international scientific and practical conference Architecture of Finance: Transformation in the Times of New Multipolarity was conducted on 11-12 April 2024 in the Corinthia hotel, Saint Petersburg, and pulled together representatives of business, higher school and executive authorities of Saint Petersburg.

At the plenary part speeches were delivered by the deputy chairman of VEB.RF Yuriy Korsun, the chairperson of the Saint Petersburg Finance Committee Svetlana Enilina, the first deputy chairman of the government for Leningrad Oblast – the chairman of the Finance Committee Roman Markov, the deputy head of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for Saint Petersburg Vladimir Polezhaev.

The plenary part was followed by a roundtable discussion dedicated to investment in financial markets and direct investment. The deputy chairman of VEB.RF Yuriy Korsun made the introductory speech. The professor at the School of Finance and head of the financial modelling group of VEB.RF Dmitry Tikhomirov co-moderated the meeting and presented a general overview of the large business’ investment activity. The PhD candidate of the School of Finance, the PPP projects managing director of PJSC VTB Aleksey Kharlamov rendered the report Financial Architecture of PPP Projects in Russia. The following experts also participated in the meeting: professor of the School of Finance and managing director of Rosselkhozbank Ilya Shumov; senior research associate of the Center of Inter-Budget Relations of the Financial Research Institute of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation,associate professor of the School of Finance, HSE graduate Vladimir Olkhovik; head of the Division of Bank Relations of the Corporate Finance Department of BCC LLC (Baltic Chemical Complex) V. Nikiforov.
