School of Finance faculty, FES, will present their research at the American Accounting Association Annual Congress

This year, 3 reports on research conducted at the School of Finance were accepted to be presented at the 105th Annual Congress of the American Accounting Association (AAA, USA), which will be held on August, 2nd - 5th, 2021. Research will be presented by the School of Finance faculty: Prof. Ivashkovskaya Irina, Sen.Lect. Artom Anilov,  Assoc. Prof. Vysotskaya Anna, Assoc. Prof. Makeeva Elena, along with the PhD students of the School.

Every year this congress brings together more than 10,000 participants from all over the world, including academic representatives in the field of accounting and finance, experts from international accounting associations (AICPA-CIMA, IMA, ICAEW, etc.), representatives of the largest international publishers (Wiley, McGrawHill and others), as well as editors of the journals included in international citation databases (Scopus, WoS). The papers go through double-blind peer-review process and only after that are included in the program.

This year, the association designated the theme of the congress as “Be Courageous in the Midst of Challenge”. The Annual Congress is a unique and one of the most significant events in the accounting and financial world that allows to strengthen international network, exchange new views and scientific interests. In addition to research and study sessions, the Annual Congress always includes dynamic and informative plenary and panel sessions that improve understanding of current issues in the world of accounting and finance.
