A team of FES students led by Alina Valerievna Kostochko, a Lecturer at the School of Finance, took first place at the VII All-Russian Olympiad “Corporate Finance”

Students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences - Kirill Sivtsov, Stanislav Chernenko, Evelina Kolomets, Amir Kasumov - took first place at the VII All-Russian Olympiad "Corporate Finance".

The Olympiad, organized by the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University with the support of SIBUR's Blagoveshchensk enterprise - JSC POLIEF, took place on April 25, 2024 in a remote format. The goal of the Olympiad is to familiarize students with the theory and practice of corporate finance, allowing them to master modern algorithms for financial and investment decisions. The teams’ results were assessed by leading specialists from the financial and economic services of JSC POLIEF. Students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, being among the 20 participating teams, took first place. We thank the School of Finance lecturer Alina Valerievna Kostochko for the quality students’ preparation and the ability to put together a close-knit team!
