Joint work of the Research Working Group «Center for Interdisciplinary Research of Intellectual Capital» and the World Intellectual Capital Initiative (WICI)

On 25 th of June, 2020, the research working group «Center for Interdisciplinary Research of Intellectual Capital» held an online meeting at which it discussed the text of the World Intellectual Capital Initiative (WICI) for financial directors (CFOs) in order to better understand the role of intangible assets in the creation of CFO value, it has formulated proposals to supplement and improve the quality of the content of the manual prior to its targeted publication. These proposals were sent directly to the WICI on 30 th of June.

In the next academic year, in addition to the work of the research team itself, the Centre will conduct research and practical research by student teams in two areas: "Measurement of intellectual capital and best practices in extended corporate reporting"; and "Audit of non-financial reporting". The student teams include students from Russia, CIS countries, China and the Middle East from the second undergraduate to the master’s degree level. New research and practice will be conducted in both Russian and English.
