Results of the project «Practical aspects of financial investigations and compliance. Immersion in the work of the consultant «Deloitte Forensik»

May 6, 2020, was held a joint project of the Joint Department with "Deloitte" and the School of Finance of FES, conducted under the leadership of senior lecturer of School of Finance Soboleva Oksana Alexandrovna and senior manager Deloitte Forensic, Ksenia Neboga. The project involved 12 students divided into 3 teams. The project consisted of two parts: applied and research. Based on the results of the applied part, students analyzed the case and prepared a presentation with the results.

The research part ended with the preparation of studies on the topics proposed by each of the teams:

"The impact of the composition and frequency of meetings of corporate governance bodies on the likelihood of fraud in Russian companies"

"The impact of anti-corruption measures and compliance program elements on share price growth in Russian and international companies: an example of automotive companies"

"The main drivers and obstacles to implementing compliance programs in Russian and international companies"

The defense of the project was held online on the ZOOM platform. Each team successfully presented presentations to the project managers.
