Naturally, companies are interested in fixing such capital in their reports - such are called non-financial. However, in order to present such non-financial information to the public, companies need to assure this information or audit the non-financial reports
Studies of the methodology and practices of the audit (assurance) of non-financial capital include: the need for audit in companies and organizations, the development of methodology and practices, the comparison of information from a normal external audit and an audit of non-financial reporting, the use of an audit of non-financial reporting for internal strategic management of the company and external stakeholders.
