Results of the project "Analysis of business and financial practices of Russian timber companies"

Defense of the joint project of the "EY" Corporate Chair and the School of Finance of FES took place.

During the project, students:

• analyzed the Timber Industry (TI) financing specifics in the leading countries (Canada, USA, Brazil, Finland, Sweden, China);
• analyzed key business aspects of the world-leading companies from the industry of wood processing products’ production;
• identified main drivers of the TI companies’ value and compared foreign and Russian business practices in this industry

As a result of the project, students made individual reports in the form of presentations, using the group work’s conclusions.
