About the Department
The Specialized Department was established in May 2011 at the instance of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and PwC. We engaged world-class practitioners to teach students and thus managed to accumulate the best practices in audit, tax and business consulting. The Department staff members provide practical knowledge which has a significant influence on the students’ professional future and their employability after graduation.
The Department affords every facility for professional research and development: topics, academic advising, access to new equipment. Apart from academic studies students also fulfill tasks which simulate to the greatest possible extent an operating process of a real company.
The Department is actively involved in vocational guidance, thus assisting students in defining their career preferences and improving their competitive fitness on the employment market. Representatives of various business lines of PwC tell of the specific character of particular spheres. Experienced recruiters meet students on a regular basis: they consult students on writing of curriculum vitae, passing staff selection rounds and also provide an opportunity to participate in a trial interview with a feedback. Professional business coaches of the company teach business skills in their trainings.
