About the Department

The Department was established in September 2017 as a joint project of Business Solutions and Technologies and the HSE School of Finance (Faculty of Economic Sciences).

Business Solutions and Technologies (BST) is a leading provider of audit, financial advisory, tax, legal, and management consulting services.

Through the combined expertise of about 2,000 employees, it serves major government and private companies in various industries.

The Business Solutions and Technologies Group has offices in nine cities in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Minsk, Astana and Tashkent.

The Department’s focus areas:

• Developing academic and applied finance courses
• Developing and implementing various project activities for undergraduates, graduates, and postgraduates
• Creating a practical training module for teamwork between undergraduates, graduates, and postgraduates
• Collaborations between BST specialists and School of Finance undergraduates, graduates, and postgraduates as part of joint applied research and publications
• Roundtable discussions, workshops, and master classes in School of Finance’s fields of study

BST works closely with The Faculty of Economic Sciences, regularly contributing to the Finance Career master class series, participating in the annual HSE Career Fair, and offering internships and work placements.
